N R Panicker – Chairman, Accel Group

A visionary technopreneur with 34 years of experience in the IT Industry, he is ranked among the top 10 key influencers of the Indian IT Industry by
Dataquest. Mr. Panicker is the founder member of Accel group and main Promoter of Accel Transmatic Ltd. He presently serves as Chairman of the Accel
Transmatic Board. Mr. Panicker has served as the Chairman, Board Member and Director of various organizations such as Computer Society of India (Chennai),
Kerala Venture Capital Fund and Indus Entrepreneurs. He serves as a Board Member of Kerala Venture Capital Fund Private Limited. In 2007, he was
honored by the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Tamil Nadu State Government as one of the outstanding entrepreneurs of the year. Mr. Panicker holds a
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from The College of Engineering Trivandrum, University of Kerala.
From 1977 to 1990, he served in various positions with HCL Infosystems Limited (formerly, HCL Limited). He spent the early years of his career as a
computer engineer and grew up the ranks to head the national IT Services operations of HCL Ltd. He also embarked on several innovative ventures resulting
in the creation of several IP's in the areas of CRM, e-Governance, Banking and Education.
Philip John – President Accel Frontline Software Division

Philip John serves as President & Chief Executive Officer of Ushus Technologies. Philip has over 33 years of experience in organizations including ER & DC
and NEST group of companies, where he served as the President of Software division in Thiruvananthapuram. He presently serves as the President of Accel
Frontline Software Division. Philip holds M.Tech from IIT, Chennai.
He started his career in Keltron and later moved onto ER & DC where he worked till 1995. He then moved to a NEST group company focused on software
services where he served as the president of the software division. Ushus Technologies was established in 2000 by Philip and three other first generation
entrepreneur’s with a vision of a technology oriented design services company. In 2005, the company merged with Accel group and became the technology
division of AccelTransmatic Limited.
He has contributed in academic and professional bodies too. He was the vice chairman of the IEEE Kerala Section in 2004.
