FCAPS based application development
In Fault Management, we have worked on projects that require advanced fault detection of SNMP traps, analysis of the cause and to provide
solutions/corrective measures. We also have extensive know-ledge on advance modification capabilities, such as, mask, severity, duplication, forwarding,
threshold, clearing and formatting required in a Fault management system/module. Our capability in Fault management spans across various

Tool development:
Ushus has successfully executed various plug-in development projects. Few plug-in development projects are;

Development of Legacy Fault Management plug-in which supports more than 100 devices. An Automated Parser application was added to support huge
amount of traps and to convert these into events. Apart from general functionalities, options for vendor and device specific functionalities was
developed.

Development of Fault Management plug-in for different vendors of the client.

Development of Custom Modem Manager Applications for specific customers. The application will provide an overall view of port customer assignments,
their configurations, port utilizations, etc. It also performs well defined Accounting management.

Development of Server plug-in with CORBA interfaces for supporting customer specific NMS/EMS applications. This CORBA northbound interfaces were
used as it can easily integrate into a third-party umbrella system (OSS).

Development of device specific GUI applications based on FCAPS. We have successfully executed more than 10 similar projects for different customer
products. The application provides multi-user support for network operations, maintaining a centralized data base and network partitioning.
NMS Azzist
Ushus has developed an in-house SNMP device simulator for the development and testing purpose, called NMS Azzist. In addition, the tool has a MIB manager
module which allows users to manage and use the MIBs efficiently. The MIB Manager allows users to easily compile and browse the MIB files. Also, NMS Azzist
allows users the flexibility of importing/exporting device and MIB entries. It also supports advanced search options to find MIB variables using both OID
and name. An additional search feature is that the tool allows searching the MIB variables easily through index searching and bookmarks.
