  Structure of Ushustech QMS (Quality Management System)
Each defined process within the organisation uses a standard template. The definition follows the ETVX (Entry, Task, Verify, eXit) model and all the inputs & outputs are defined. Each project follows the organisation’s standard process, with tailoring, if required.
 
  Process Tools
Ushustech uses internally developed web based tools to improve and monitor processes, apart from standard tools for project management, design, configuration management and testing.

Daily Activity Reporting System
DAR (Daily Activity Reporting System) records efforts spent by each project team member for project or related activities. Effort is measured on individual, milestone or project basis. This makes it possible to compare actual effort with estimated effort. The data thus generated is stored in the process database for calculation of productivity figures for future estimation.

Call Monitoring System
System administration and support is an integral part of any project team for fulfilling the project requirements. Call monitoring system addresses issues in this area by making it possible to record and monitor support requisitions. Support requests are prioritised and the latest time/date for completion of the task assigned to the system administration group. Top management monitors all pending and completed tasks.

Defect Tracking System
DTS (Defect Tracking System) is an online application that records and tracks bugs, defects & suggestions arising from various stages in software development life cycle. This tool provides secured login to users and each user category is provided with a customised view of the tool based on their role. Reviewers/Testing team enters bugs detected in each stage of review/testing at unit level, module level, integration level and final acceptance. These bugs are assigned to the respective owners for fixing and subsequently submited for testing/review. It keeps track of the bugs based on location, reviewer and owner, all throughout the debugging process including those from the customer. DTS creates a wide range of matrices like phase wise bug distribution and defects leakage matrix.
